Guys please stop bombarding me with pm's and emails - everything I know is in this thread.

I tuned this trans they way I tune the 6R80. I still have one issue - WOT shift tuning does nothing for me.

Great job Kris!!! Thanks!! It's a lesson for me. Always read correctly the description!! Happy I was wrong and you were right !!!

I probably would have found it but it may have taken days even weeks before I decide to try it lol. Especially since I was not hitting it at the drag strip with my 3.15 so it was not as painfull as those with a 3.55!!

I should be good with my 15% increase. Will try it later!

    Thanks again to everybody !

I hope it's solving almost everyone having the 6th gear issues!

What about WOT shift tuning are you having issues with? I dialed in mine about 90% to where I want it last night.

My shift are pretty much dead on to 50 rpm off every shift . Only had that 7000 rpm wrench in 6th who happened like 4 time in Mexico the rest is pretty much all dial in. Car run like a freak even with piston slap and weird tic sometime lol.

Only other problem I have is my my 94 octane pump gas. It's very close to e85 in 70's and bellow but in hi temp and humidity it's not even close to e85. Access to good e85 is nearly non-existent over here!!!

I know that limiter could have been a issue later in fall because with my 3.15 and 25.7 tires I am not too far already than that 7000 rpm in 6th in positive DA!!

Are you guys multiplying the entire table by 105%? (I guess I'm not understanding how you fixed the issue)

For the 7000 rpm hard limiter because of the planetary. I Multiply all value by 1.15 so I should be good to 8000 rpm. If you need more adjust accordingly! Some just max it out. I personally don't, adjusting only to what I need as sometime just maxing things out can cause other issue on some functions.

Anyone know if Exceeding the torque value in the Transmission > Torque Management > Upshift > Torque Modulation > 1-2, or 2-3 ect will cause the transmision to up shift early or before the set OSS that is scheduled?

Maxing those will not cause any issues. RPM limiter is still there no matter what you do.

I was wrong about this trans only having ISS and OSS for sensors. This trans has more than 2 sensors:

Intermediate Speed Sensor A - ISSA
Intermediate Speed Sensor B - ISSB
    Turbine Speed Sensor - TSS
Output Speed Shaft Sensor - OSS
    Transmission Range Sensor - TR
Transmission Fluid Temp Sensor - TFT

mine is shifting earlier then the upshift scheduled oss on 1-2 and 2-3, any thoughts on this?

It's always like this with AT transmissions. 6R80 had this too in 1st. 1-2 shift had to be scheduled to 9100 rpm to actually shift at 8200 rpm.
This is how the converter works in lower gears when it's fully open - RPM is way higher than ISS.

You have to raise it up way above what you expecting for lower gears.

I will try raising the oss schedule for 1-2 and 2-3 and see what happens. I will report back either way.

EDIT: looking at my strategy I'm missing RPM Antic Shifts and Max Accel. rate Min Accel. - I'm not sure if these will cause the trans to Shift before the scheduled OSS.

You 100% correct, I had to request 7200rpm shift to get 7000rpm on 1-2 and 7400rpm shift to get 7000rpm on 2-3.

The 10r80 seems to be way more responsive than the 6r80. 6r80 I had to command ahead of time, not the same on the 10r80.
