    High air intake temp

    Hei guys.
I have my LBZ silverado. With a stage 1 turbocharger mounted on it.
But it is explowding in the air intake temp.
If im crusing with about 6-70mph it is about 120-140degres farenheit. This is about 7-8 psi of boost.
If i take a long pull. It can rice up to 180 farenheit. Where I will lift the food. :-(
Does any of you know if this is right??
What is the temp on your trucks??

    Thanks Jonas.

Seems about right. May be a bit high. if it matches ambient temp with zero boost it should be correct under load or boost. If your turbo is inefficient it will be high !

Whether the turbo is new or not has nothing to do with the heat it will generate.
What intercooler and where is your iat sensor mounted?

    Hi.
It was the EGR valve. I blocked it. And tempreture droped to 40-50 degres fahrenheit above tempsensor in the MAF.

    EGR crap. 😊😊

Those are definitely not normal cruising temps. Intake mani temps while cruising should be well within 15-20* ambient, sometimes even lower. Even after a long hard pull you should barely be seeing those sort of temps.
