Can we read the pcm without the break out cable or is it needed to read the pcm as well?

Each time I flash the PCM now, I lost all the performances gauges in the Uconnect performance pages. (AFR, BOOST, Air temp, I/C temps) Sometimes they come back after a while by temselves. But now they don't .... But all of those gauges works perfectly in the EVIC.

Any clues ?
