HELP '09 G8 GT 6.0L L76 Cant Read PCM

I have a L76 out of a '09 G8 GT 6.0L L76.
Here is the sticker from this PCM

All setup on a stand-alone harness and cant read it at all. This is what it shows everytime I try.

I happen to have another '09 G8 GT 6.0L L76 at my shop right now as well...

So I headed outside and got the PCM out of it to try on this car. Same message as you can see here...

So really trying to get this thing running I grabbed a E38 controller out of a 2009 Silverado 1500 4.8L

and downloaded a '09 G8 GT file from the repository, licensed it and wrote entire onto the Silverado PCM.

It runs fine. But you cannot read it anymore. It shows this...

Have you tried reading it in a car rather than on the bench?

I have not however I can go try. I tried 5 different ECM's on my stand-alone harness and they all worked.. decided to make a bench harness real quick and tried them in there with no luck however it read all of the other E38's. So I definitely dont have a wiring issue. I will go try to read it in the car today though!
