Hey all Just had a questions regarding the "ECM Auto Trans Type" options and what the different selections meant or do.
I've searched the different options with no luck and was hoping someone here had some insight. Currently working with a 2015 5.3 with a 6l80e trans and noticed this drop down box while in the trans section.

Never touched that drop down before, you should never need to change that anyway on a 6L80e truck.
Haven't been able to find a break down of what each mean either.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
Pretty sure it's the same for 6l90e and 8L90e. Just use a t43 instead of the t87. There was factory 2014 5.3l with the t43, I should think you could just use sps to flash Both controllers.
The ecm and tcm are from the same vehicle. I was just curious as to what these options were for or what the function of them was. No plans to play with this drop down box.
