For those who have dyno'd a Silverado SS AWD on a RWD dyno

I've read a few posts on the Google about how people have done this with no problem but I wanted to ask people who actually have.

From what I understand it has a viscous transfer case. You can remove the front driveshaft and only tap the brake to get it out of park. I think GM calls it "hump mode" or something like that.

From what I read if you don't apply the brakes it won't attempt to transfer any power to the front possibly damaging the t case.

Anyone have any experience with this?

    Thanks.

from someone who has spent a lot of time with the awd gm stuff, you will end up frying the t-case internals. I have seen the couplers lose it on the awd tbss's numerous times on our awd dyno. pisses the dyno off to no end.

FWIW if you put a selectable transfer case in it for testing it won't matter. When done put your AWD back in. It is not as hard a it sounds.
