I've noticed it's kind of a trend in the middle east.

Never would have guessed that.
I would think you would force it into open loop and make it really rich. Then use a spark plug in the exhaust to light it. Probably ruin the catalytic converter (guessing not a big issue over there) and who knows what codes you would throw. I need to look at the tables to figure out which ones to modify. I know one thing, I'm not testing it on mine.
