    2009 GT500 tune file help

Hey guys, I just picked up an 09 GT500. The car is all stock. I am going to be putting on a 2.5" pulley and a factory intake from a 10-12 GT500.

Does anyone have a good basic tune file for this combo?

Also, I have noticed in a few posts here that people have mentioned the GT500 having factory wide band O2s.... is this true?

    Thanks

2011+ Mustang GT and GT500 have widebands and run closed loop control full time (except for startup and if there is a failure of o2 sensor , etc).

Ah, that's neat. So the older cars still work the old fashioned way I assume.

From what I have been reading up on, the 07-10 GT500 MAF is analog and the 11-up is digital. The 10-up intake/MAF ducting is the same, which is what I am going to be using (with the resonator delete).

So if I want to use the 10-up MAF/intake setup on my 09, I should be able to copy the MAF transfer from a stock 2010 file, into my 09 file, since they are both analog MAF tunes. That should get me in the ballpark of having the proper x-fer function. Does that all sound right?

Also could someone post either a stock 2010 GT500 file, or at least a screen shot of the MAF vs airflow table? Thanks!

Very interesting... there doesn't seem to be a big difference in transfer function from 07-09 to the larger 2010 MAF/intake.

Not sure, haven't seen a tune from an '09.
I bought this car new, still have it, but when I was looking for one, there was a few '09's available. The only difference in the '09 & '10 was the air cleaner assembly, '10 was an open style, '09 was some kind of closed style. Other than that, there's supposed to be no difference at all in the motors. Supposedly, the open filter assembly accounted for 40hp, since the 2010's were rated at 540, and the '09's were rated at 500hp. I don't know if that was enough to make any difference in the tune, but you would think it had to make some difference at least.

I have tune from 2009 GT500, don't look like stock. Ford Racing cold air kit and exhaust. Maf transfer and boost values and some minor things are different from 2008 tune in repository.

I think there is a stock one in the repository or try looking in here by searching GT500
