    turbo avalanche hot start issue. Must open throttle to start when hot

    I figured I would start a new thread on this 12 turbo avalanche because I only have one issue with it now. cts-v map, 80lb injectors, speed density tune with an on 3 single turbo kit. With the much appreciated help from Chris @ Crawford racing, the truck runs amazingly well. The main issue I am having is that, when its up to temperature, the truck wont fire up unless I touch the throttle. Cold start seems beautiful and as soon as it does start, idle is beautiful. IT IS JUST GETTING IT TO FIRE THAT HAS ME PUZZLED!!!!! By pressing the throttle blade half throttle, it will then start. How do I know if it needs more FUEL or AIR when cranking to get it to fire? Does anyone have any tricks to try to atleast point me in the right direction of fuel or air? Thanks in advance for any and all help as I just want this customer out of my life (Hes one of those guys)

    Your cracking the throttle so it needs more air - if it has a cam and ve is probably off just a little - go to cranking VE and change it to 80 - you can fine tune this to make it really snappy too...

    Thank you guys. That made a huge difference. the one thing I forgot about was when the a/c is on, it idles around 900. when you go from park to reverse, it drops to 500 or sometimes even stalls. Only with the a/c on and going from park to a gear.

    torque management > a/c torque. increase the numbers by 20% and see what it does {in that range itself of the rpm drop}
