2001 silverado 5.3 cold start help needed

So I love the tune in my truck. It runs, drives, and feels great. BUT..... When its cold, and I start it up, it surges to the point it will stall out. If I hold some throttle to it, like 2-5% and hold it above 1000 rpms it will run fine, and if I slowly pull my foot off the gas it wont surge unless I bump the steering wheel or put any kind of a load on the motor, Then it will start surging again. Once the temp gauge moves, its fine, and a non issue.

Here is my current tune.... let me know if you see any thing I can change to help cold start!

How much time have to spent with idle airflow tuning and idle timing?

You can also play with open loop fueling to make it happy.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I have tried the idle air flow tuning, but about the time I start getting it close, the temp comes up and it runs awesome. I've tried keeping it in open loop, and it still doesnt matter, once its got heat in it, regardless of open or closed loop, it runs mint. I have not tried idle timing at all.
