2015/16/17 2500/3500 Suburban ECM and cooling fans info

I am trying to find a little info about the 3/4 and 1 ton rated Suburbans GM sells through their fleet program. From what I can tell from pictures and whatnot those trucks run electric cooling fans like the 1/2 ton models do. However the powertrain is the same L96 and 6L90E the 2500/3500 HD pickups use. The pickup trucks run an E78 Ecm and from searching and asking the one other poster I found he was not able to activate the outputs on his truck successfully to control electric fans. Long story short I have a 2017 2500HD 6 liter pickup and I want to swap it over from the mechanical clutch fan to e fans. What ECM do the Suburbans use or where can I even find that info? I was thinking the dealership might be able to tell me a part number at least but if someone here has lists with that information that would even be better. From rockauto the older models like a 2012 and 2013 Suburban does show up as a 2500 and they list them using an E38... not sure if that is still the same today.
