Not presently. I'd expect that the accelerometers (ie the g-force sensors) are what's triggering, so I may be able to add an option in a future update to make Segment & Drag mode starts only trigger based on GPS movement, ignoring accelerometers... That would degrade timing accuracy somewhat, but in all honesty, GPS and accelerometers were not going to match the awesome precision of a laser timing system anyway.
