    Readiness monitors and Codes question

I have a buddy that has a 2007 dodge ram with the 5.7, he is looking at ripping all of the EVAP stuff off and was asking some questions about codes and the readiness monitors. I have messed with several GM tunes and never had a problem as I can force the readiness monitors for EVAP, O2's, EGR, ect. when it comes time to inspect the truck. Does it work the same for dodge ECM's? I usually just set the codes needed to "no error reported" and everything is good. haven't messed with and Dodge or Chrysler stuff yet and didn't want to license the truck and have it not work.

    thanks!

Ive personally found if you just uncheck the MIL enable box it will set the monitor. You can also uncheck both to shut the code off. I had to do that on a fuel sending unit code. This is on an ngc3 controller but worth a shot. I just did it to pass emissions on my current car last week.
