    Unable to locate VCM

Here's my deal: I don't get a different truck to tune, but maybe once per year. I'll tune mine at least once per year just to try something different. A few years ago I had requested an old Beta version. A fellow tuner sent me one. It worked. Everything was copacetic. Fast forward over 4 years, and now I can't get passed this error. I had uninstalled it be cause I was having issues with an LBZ, and thought the newer version might remedy the situation. Turns out the truck had harness damage from varmints. So now to tune this 2008, I uninstalled the new, and reinstalled the old. I messaged support, but you already know what they said. I need any relevant info on the down low (hahaha), so message me here.

depending on how "old" the old software is you are attempting to use the newer firmware might not be compatible. What firmware is on your interface? What "old" software version are you attempting to run, be specific ie 2.24.998
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

2.23.272 and 120. Is there a way to go back to 112?

I have a client that would like to disable DPF on their 2008 Duramax because the habitual limp mode for regeneration is a hassle. A lot of these trucks are coming up on 2nd or 3rd hand owners. I'm going to do my best to make it happen. I understand that your company is under scrutiny from the EPA, so if you can't really help me help my client then don't comment. As if the updated software can disable DPF, and you think I don't know that. The updated software is of no use anymore.

He was only answering your questions, big deal if it's not what you wanted to hear.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
