LS7 MAF in non LS7 app.

Anyone hear tried this? It was brought up in a SD v. MAF disscussion on LS1Tech. Adapting it to mechanically fit wouldn't be a problem. My question is does it send an output frequency the same way a current LS1 MAF does? This seems like it would be more versatile in custom intake setups and maybe even a little less prone to heatsoak. Anyone have any thoughts or inputs?

as far as I know they all output the same way....
and lots of guys have gone to a zo6 MAF with just some simpe hardware changes and a little wiring...
teh IAT is included in the ls7 MAF If I remeber correctly
..so its just a matter of splitting out to hit both th eMAF harness and IAT harness and having the corect connectors on them both

    Scott,
The LS7 MAF is a sampling MAF not the round one. ala Ford & some other GM products.
You would have to have a similar inlet tract to the LS7 to make use of the LS7 MAF I think....
Overall I think it would be a calibration nightmare... But that's just me.
