I'm wondering if anyone has tried editing and scaling the column axis values on the 6L80E base shift pressure tables-- Specifically to negative values...

These tables control line pressure based on calculated torque. From my observation, when calculated torque is negative (I.E. The drivetrain pulling the closed throttle motor down), the pressure calculations will use the slope of the first two columns to calculate the pressures past the left edge of the table.

In situations that negative calculated torque presents itself, the transmission pressure drops to a value that's inappropriately low.

Has anyone tried setting the first column of the pressure table to a negative torque value? Say -100? I'm not confident the TCM can interpret a negative value for this cell, and would rather not brick it if someone else already has tried something similar.

Thank you!
