It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

i dont think the no-ve table thing is only for ls7's...i think its all 06's

So how exactly are we to go about driveability tuning?
I would think it has to calculate VE in real time using the 02's.....without an actual VE table this is the only way that correct fueling could occur

On all the 06 Z06's I have tuned I have had to rely on the MAF.
As Chris says: "LS7 (E38) has no "regular" VE table."

so what does it have? an irregular one? is a circle?
seriously tho, what's different? i saw they have two different tables for MAF, are they gonna have multiple VEs? (for open butterflies in exhaust or something?)
And
BTW: The Gas & Alcohol tables are slightly different even though the Vette isn't flex fuel.
According to another post by Chris: You multiply all these various tables together, then divide the Stoch value by the multiplicand to get EQ ratio.

wtf is an IVT?
Don't know how they calculate it but it's Intake Valve Temperature...

I was trying to figure that out with a buddy the other day. Unless there is a much more extensive range of sensors, I just don't see how they calculate it. And the kicker is that in open loop, its a heavily relied upon for fueling values.Originally Posted by EC_Tune

IVT HAS to be a mathematical model based upon known metalurgical characteristics of the valves, fuel flow, ECT and IAT.....I'm just guessing here but unless you've got an intake valve with an actual temp sensor in it (highly doubtful) this is the ONLY way to calculate it

chris said, i think, that GM is getting better than the ve tables they have complex algorithims. hence why you have to add this and divide by that bla bla. the better the algorithms the better the fueling.

This is what we ended up doing with this car, and it turned out very well. Drives as well as stock.Originally Posted by EC_Tune
