New PCM No Case Relearn ??????

First post, be kind. Did a lot of reading and everyone said ALL E40 PCMs that are replaced need a case relearn. I just bought an A40 with a stock tune and my VIN from allcomputerresources on eBay. They said no case relearn in needed. Is this right? Old PCM is a P0601 bummer.

Interesting, the company says the PCM will learn it by its self. I have never hear of this.
