I currently have a 2003 1500 cab sitting on a 2500 drive train. Everything went flawless. But now that it's time to do our awesome Ontario Canada e-test the machine reads the vin in the PCM and they compare to the vin scanned on the dash. It's a fail. My question is can I use the vin changer to match the PCM vin to the truck.

OK so if i cant change the vin. I have access to GM TIS2WEB so Im planning on flashing the pcm to the vin that matches the cab which is a 2004 1500 5.3 dbw. Then tune the pcm to a 2004 2500 6.0 dbw and will have to do a segment swap for a 4l80e. This plan should work. all this just to get past the government
