Question Can't view Transmission Detail/Type/Name in Ver 3.x.x like in Ver 2.24, why not?

    Hi guys,

In Ver 2.24.1172, you could view the Calibration details and see what transmission the PCM controls, it would show a name as in 4L60E, 4L80E or it would say Manual.

In the new 3.x.x or even on 3.4.44 when you view Calibration details, all you get is the Transmission ID and not the actual name like it was listed in Ver 2.24.1172

I've attached some screen shots for Ver 2.24.1172 and Ver 3.4.44

Is there a way to get it to show again or am I missing something?

    Bill

That was just a parameter pulled from the calibration, that you can view in the transmission parameters group.

    Under Trans-general.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I think the specific parameters you're referring to are hidden. We'll need to unhide them, and make them read only.

ok, I see now. Is there a chance you could make it "read only" like before on the Cal detail tab?

I was mistaken... they are in the engine/transmission general sections currently.

Not likely, its simply redundant information.
