    unable to write calibration

I am trying to flash my truck pcm and get an error message " write calibration selected for (p59) but operating system ID's are different " and it wont write the calibration the pcm originally came from this truck, I had used it in a ls swap for my f body while building the truck and I think I upgraded to rtt but have never had any issues with programming any ideas???

If you upgraded to a custom OS like (RTT) you have to write entire to go back to the stock OS.

I think you have to do a Write Entire for that as long as the stock file was the one that was on it before you upgraded. I am pretty new so forgive me if I am not correct, but I would try Write Entire.

Well looks like HPT Engineer beat me to the response lol. At least I was on the right track.

I always shake in my boots a bit.

The fact is its a warning not a premonition. However if you want to go back to stock thats how you do it.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
