    Flash with a password

    Hello

    My friend want to tune gis car sierra 2010, but the flash file has a password.

    Is there is any ither way to tune this car, Can we just flash the orginal flash and then start editing it step by step ?

    If the computer is tuner locked you need to unlock it before you can tune it.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    The problem that the ecu is locked by another person before two years.

    I bought the car from someone else.

    Then you are kind of out of luck.

    A dealership could reflash the stock calibration into the computer for you but that will cost you. Then you'd have to spend 2 credits to licence the new file. I'd research a bit on that but I believe that's your only option or get a new PCM from a dealership.

    Dealers cannot flash over tunerlocked ecm's, he'd need a new ecm.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
