    Tune help for LS1

    Can anyone help me with a base tune?


    Vehicle 1999 Camaro SS

    Longtube headers into Hpipe w/bullet muffler

    3.23 Gear/4L60E 3200-3600 Lockup Stall

    Stock Engine with harded pushrods and TSP .660 lift springs titanium retainers, stock rockers

    Ported Stock Throttle Body

    86mm MAF Housing with Stock LS1 guts

    LS6 Intake

    Texas Speed Torquer v4 LS1 Cam

    Duration at .050 231/234

    Lobe Lift .370/.362

    Valve Lift @1.7 .629/.615

    Lobe Seperation 111

    Intake Centerline 109

    The stock tune is your base, so you already have that.

    Change anything in the tune for anything you may have changed first. Like o2 sensor deletes, EGR deletes, gear ratio change if done.

    Past that everything is going to be custom to your setup. Start with getting the idling good and from there you can start correct the VE and MAF curve that are going to way way off from the factory calibration. I suggest you take a few days and maybe even a few weeks and start reading about how to start tuning. Maybe buy a book or two to get yourself adjusted and ready.

    You'll want a wideband for tuning as well, you won't be able to dial in your fueling during heavy throttle without.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
