    data log LS oil pressure sensor on MPVI interface

    I'd like to use this 3 wire LS oil pressure sensor to data log possible coolant pressure spikes during high boost runs. I believe it needs a 5V source, a ground, and then I run the 5V signal to the MPVI interface on the HPTuners.

    Am I thinking correctly?

    Yes..

    Black = GND
    Grey = +5v
    Tan/Wht = Vout to MVPI input.

    You can pull 5v and GND from the MAF or MAP sensor and have to configure the offset and scaling for the sensor or just read the raw voltage from it and see what that corresponds to on the psi curve

    Or you can run the sensor directly to the PCM where the oil pressure goes and skip the voltage offset.
    I build stuff...
