I have a 1999 Silverado and the operating system doesn't support segment swap but way back it was sent to HP Tuners and a 4L80 segment was done in house. That ecm now has a bad injector driver. I have used the file from that ecm and done a write entire on another ecm and all work except now have a battery light on in the message center. Battery and alt is good. I have also Tis flashed a express van 6.0/4L80 tune still has a battery light on. When I flash it stock with the correct vin with Tis there is no battery light on. I have played with the system options switches nothing seems to work. I have tried several different ecm's and flashing the custom OS that HP Tuners used into another ecm makes that ecm unflashable with any software other than HP Tuners. Is there a work around for this? Maybe older software version? Anyone experienced this? Thanks
