changes in cylinder airmass with timing advance

I added some timing to my tune, seems to run really well but my cylinder airmass measurements dropped across the board. At 6400 ish my airmass used to be around .82 g now its topping out at .71g . Does this mean the increased timing decreased power? I was trying to use the delivered torque pid to gauge effectiveness of changes and it is directly proportionate to airmass i think.

I had planned to do that but was just wondering if that drop in airmass reflected a loss in power

your scanner is not a dyno.

From what I see for whatever reason - it may go up or it may go down with more hp and tq, so like Higgs said - your scanner isn't a dyno If it's running better and you possibly have some sort of way to measure acceleration and it got better too then you've probably gone in the right direction...

Not sure what you mean by airmass "topping out" but if you now run the same performance level (throttle vs rpm vs speed) with less airmass, then your drop in airmass is a good thing.
Regardless, as others said, it's not a dyno....
