Awesome to finally have someone jump into obd2 on Mercedes! I don't know how much I would be willing to mess with on these cars though because the M156 still cost $70,000 and the M157 is well into the 6 figure range.... Can Mercedes tell if the ME software has been changed after you tune it?
More like 30k and 60k range for M156 and M157 just looking at the E63 on carmax as an example.
Does bring up the good question though about when will the non-amg motors that have massive potential for tuning be supported like the M278 which is the 4.6 liter bi-turbo in the cls550/E550 among other models.
