    4L60E Manual first

    Swapped a 2008 5.3 and 4l60 in to a jeep and have ran into a couple of problems... It drives fine in drive but when i put it in to manual first and under light to medium throttle the jeep jumps and surges like its hitting a rev limiter? I know its not the clutch, or any thing in the trans. E38 ECM and T42 TCM.
    Any thoughts would be helpful, thank you.

    Could it be VSS related? Does your speedo work?

    I thought about that but it runs to good in drive for it to be a vss problem, I would think. no speedo does not work. it a cable drive coming off a dana 300
