Thank god someone had a fix. Would have never thought the fuse pulled was the problem. Mines been pulled since day one. The tbss guys swear by pulling the traction control fuse. Ill give this a try. Thanks.

Yes Joe says hes been fighting that fallacy for a while. Nice to have the launch not feel like my work van taking off from a light.

I was the only one that suggested not to, it does more harm than good. In my trans tune for my '08, I have the minimum settings and have no throttle cut or dip in timing. But my ecm is slightly different, I have the fast torque tables, and the 07's don't. Strange how GM has so many variables from year to year.

Well i tried this on my tbss and it didnt help me. Any other ideas on this. Mines pulling timing and cutting etc back to 50% on first gear take off. Sucks!!!

    Fuses installed
    Stall tq management maxed out
    Brake tq management enabled
Brake tq management table maxed out
    Torque reduction 1+. Not 0'd.
Torque reduction duration 0.1+. Not 0'd.
    Tip in limiting disabled
TCS spark, fuel cut, and etc disabled
    TCS enable temp at 280

    I believe that's everything.

So u just been disabling tcs and stabilitrak with the button? Is it really needed? I didnt notice any stabilitrak issues without it like i did with the stock tune.

Correct. With the fuses pulled I was only getting a huge timing dip when brake launching it around 2k rpms. It would pull about 15 degres for 0.8 secs roughly. Which is significant for the 60 foot. Now with all the settings like I mentioned and the tcs/stabilitrak deactivated with the shifter button, I am getting full power/commanded timing on the launch. The abs and stabilitrak fuses being pulled makes the ecm use brake torque management no matter if it's disabled or not.

I've been finding more and more that a lot of newer vehicle such as the 5th gen vehicles are like this too... I am no longer disabling brake torque management... I've even noticed if it's disabled - you can't use the shifter button to "officially" kill it anymore - it will say it's disabled, but it still pulls a hefty chunk of timing to try to kill wheel spin... Just goes to show that just because you think you have it set right in the tune - it always isn't
