Sounds like they maybe outsourced it to someone who works at Ford and does tuning on the side so they themselves don't know what the settings are, or Ford has some sort of behind the scenes support channel for these companies(highly unlikely).

I guess this means there's no chance of you posting their entire tune file then?

Edit - Clarified HPT is still coming out with Whipple support. They were just forced to take down the tables for the time being as they came from HPT and not an individual????? Yeah - OK then....

That's actually what I really wanted to see also. Besides just being curious at all the little things.

I know for pretty much a 100% fact that Ford does their calibrations - yes they're using a FRPP tune setup - is this the problem?
is the strategy still the same in the whipple tune?
    or did they renamed it?

I'm sure it's changed as it's a Ford FRPP template tune which means even though no one can technically change the tune, they do have access to turning safety's on and off such as if it hits a injector duty cycle limit, cht limit, knock limit and so on - it puts the engine into a partial REP and if the driver keeps trying to push it - it will kill the engine all together until the key is cycled... This also gives the shop basic access to gear ratio and tire sizes, but absolutely no way to adjust the tune to fix all of the problems with it...

Any update on this? I'm looking for a 15-17 F150 Whipple read.

While I've not seen an F-150 specific tune, if you're looking for 132mm TB data, this post has a tune in it https://www.hptuners.com/forum/showt...ighlight=132mm

Unless it was removed, I posted a whipple f150 tune for a 15'... It was a stock TB though... (OE Whipple is the F150/Latest Whipple is Big TB Mustang)

Forewarning to everyone - do not copy this OS - it has things in the background to kill the OBD data line, so you can't log it :/ If someone has a newer one - the latest whipple cals are supposed to have this removed...

GHuggins, I have a 2014 with the 2.9 front inlet and 132 TB and I have been looking at the TB info in my tune vs. the one you posted and they are way different. Any idea why or which is actually correct, or is there a difference between the s197 132 TB and the s550 132 TB? Here is a copy of my tune.

    Thx.
