    Tuning 15 coyote gt350 manifold, throttle body, cai

    Hi

    Anybody tuned that with HPT? Any advice?

    I'll be doing one this weekend. PMAS CAI though.

    Yeah, I tuned mine, heres what I learned:
    1. Copy all throttle body data from the GT350 file posted somewhere here, also make sure you have latest version of HPT
    2. To reduce surging during part throttle acceleration you can adjust the IMRC values. I used a blend of GT350 and stock values
    3. I still have issues to resolve with torque tables, so I disabled Oscillation and car runs great.

    I still get little surging when engine is cold, but once warmed up it hardly surges with the IMRC values adjusted. Also I still have oscillation disabled so it runs well at WOT. Maybe you can figure out what needs to change in torque tables so I can enable oscillation again.

    There is also gt350 maf. I wonder if there is any difference.
    Im starting today, let's see how it goes.
    Customer ordered SCT custom tune for that with another tuner in case it won't run good, but they don't make it for gt350 throttle (don't get it why), so looks another 100 hours spent in car...

    Awesome to hear. My customer is an auto car so I am hoping I don't run into too many surging issues. He is dropping it off late today, so Monday I will report back with any discoveries. Did you blend the GT and GT350 IMRC load data like others say? Have to make any changes to tq calc tables or was the GT tables close enough?

    No, did nothing except what i wrote. I will tune one monday, then more changes will come.

    me to next week i will install gt350 manifold with stock gt throttle
    what changes i have to do

    Gained 25 crank hp with this combo and still stock exhaust. Can't believe. 30 deg timing, na matter what cams are set to, it may get worse.
    I tried known tuner tune per customer request, same.

    What fuel? Here in Cali on 91oct, it liked around 24*. Used GT350 Tbody data and plenum vol. Has a PMAS CAI, but everything else is 100% stock. Played with IMRC load for open and close a little to get it like I wanted. Car drives great and seems to make good power. Going to a 1/2 mile race with the car on Nov 5th. I'll be playing with the cam timing a lot that day.

    98 eu, so 93 us.

    It gained finally 75 hp at 7500, but only 25 at 6000.
