I have built and my son raced a big cam ln2 (97 2.2 ) but it still requires the key and dash to be retained. Can I swap an OS or some how eliminate the dash and key and just run it like an ls? I have seen where these can be run on 4 wires.

requires coding to the ecu to delete the bcm passlock requirement. hpt doesnt offer it...especially in a 4 cyl application.

yes and no. if you are skilled in computer programming then there is a way. if not then forget it.
trifecta may have a standalone flash to delete the bcm, but i dont know if they work with this ecu. you will have to ask them directly.
