    ecm vin change

    Hello
    I just got my hp tuner and new to all of this. I have a 04 Silverado and my ecm is going bad. I bought a remanufactured ecm but there is a vin number attached to it. I tried to change the vin under the edit - vin change but when I change it the screen closes when it says new vin accepted. What do I need to do to change the vin? Thanks
