AEM 30-4110 Erratic Readings in scanner?

So I hooked my wideband into the pro interface using the white wire in the first port. The wideband itself seems to work and read just fine on its own. However, when I log the wideband output the numbers change so fast in the log that its hard to tell what the AFR is. The line in the graphs looks very choppy and uneven. Should it be a more flat line for easier readings? I have attached a log that I took with some idle, driving, and a WOT run at the end.

Here is the link for my wideband AEM 30-4110 instructions. I have the sensor grounded under the dash on a bolt, the white wire plugged into HPT pro, and the blue wire is not plugged into anything.

any advice would be great. thanks

Connect ground on the interface to the same ground as the wideband. Not sure it'll help but worth a shot

My wideband only has one ground. It has a red power wire, black ground wire, white signal wire, blue signal wire, and a connector for the sensor.

HPTuners interface, not wideband. There are two ground pins on the connector that most people ignore

So run a ground from pin 5 on the HPT unit to chassis?

    Yes

Not sure it'll help, but that's what I would try just to be sure that isn't it
