Tuner in Training
program 2006 mustang for performance?
I have a customer with a 2006 ford mustang GT . They are requesting that I tune it for performance, and they also have a complaint of it "bogging down" momentarily when it upshifts to the next gear. They are hoping that tuning it for better performance will correct the issue, but either way I am to tune it for better performance. I am used to tuning GMs and leaning out the power enrichment mode and that has seemed to work well with creating performance. However this is my first time to do this on a ford mustang and I do not see where to alter the power enrichment mode? Also do you have any other tips for increasing performance or potential correcting their "bogging down" issue on upshifts? Your help is appreciated, Thank you

- Update stoic to: 14.08 since almost everyone uses e10 now. This will felt with fuel trims.
- WOT Fuel is in Fuel>Open&Closed Loop>Fuel Base(looks like it's set to .82, you could increase this to .83/.84 depending on octane)
- Adjust your spark tables accordingly
Being a NA 4.6 though you are only going gain maybe 15whp...
