I would just swap over to the 2002 OS 12212156, makes it alot easier. Just tuned a 99 yesterday with 4l80 swap that way.

Thanks guys - There is no compatible OS for the segment swap for 9360361 OS.

swapping over to OS 12212156 is what you have to do in my case as you guys have suggested and write entire

I have done this in the past on swap vehicles but on this one I was just trying to preserve his factory OS - 99 Firebird (probably just my OCD kicking in but seems like I have less trouble this way)

Man I got a 99 camaro computer (os id 9360361) in my car, I'm trying to do an 80 swap, and all research has led me to believe there's no 80 segment swap for my os id. My question is, if I credited a file in Another car (os id 12212156) could I simply write entire to mine? Or is there more to it? I've never did an os swap, tia

99-00 and 01-02 call out different service numbers, you can put the newer PCM & OS in the older car but I don't think you can write the newer OS to the older PCM hardware. Otherwise GM would just have a single number to cover them all.

I have used the 12212156 OS in the 1999 & 2000 PCMs if that matters. No issues.

Any blue/red calibration can go into any blue/red PCM.
