    base tune needed!! new tuner

Im looking for someone who might have a tune I can start with. I have a 4.8 stock internals howards .572 lift cam 42 lb injectors, 102 throttle body 2" fender exit headers, ict billet intake, fuel system that should support 600hp. backed by a th350 4500 stall trans break, 9" 5.43 gears and 29x10.5x15 slicks. my plan is to start naturally aspirated and get it fine tuned and then add a on3 78/75 turbo and run e85 if needed. any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated. im a certified mechanic with 11 years experience but new to tuning.

First you give no information on the PCM you are using or the Gen of the 4.8 so without that no one can "give" you a tune. And giving tunes doesn't happen much here. People will help with specific questions but generally the people that really know how to tune sell their services. Another thing is describing your cam with only lift numbers, you might as well give no cam information at all. My tip is you will probably needt to run open loop with those headers.

IIRC the 99 and 2000 truck PCM's are oddballs. I remember tuning a 99 Escalade last year and there were several things PIDS and tables not supported by HPT. After some research a lot of people change to a 411 PCM for it's added features.

i believe you have to repin some of the harness. Google GM 1999 pcm swap.
