    Out of curiousity on this.

So, i have run across numerous timing tables where people just flat line them at say 23, 25, or 27 degrees for whatever reason in the wot ranges. Are people truly this lazy?!?! This is more of a rhetorical quesiton than anything else.

Yeah I've also thought it was very telling seeing tunes or logs from "Top" tooners that show the exact same ignition timing from 3k to 7k in a wot pull. It clearly shows lack of knowledge or understanding of basic engine operation.
Check out my V8 Sky build video. It's pretty cool!...

Yup. It's even better when they don't even bother smoothing the lower cylinder airmass areas in with their single value higher areas..

I see it a lot actually. in all engine setups from the ecotec, to the LS9. even a ford here and there. It follows into the get it in, make a number, get the money, move on mentality. People are shocked to find out they made more power on less timing by actually working with the engine on what it wants. Sadly, same goes for AFR/lambda commanded/actual.

When you ride the coattails of the few people who do not know any better, the masses can follow due to word of mouth and facebook reviews... When those who do know speak against the masses, they are shunned belittled to the point it is a useless argument. Dumb people in masses versus a singularity of the knowledgable out weigh heavily.

It was more of a topic of discussion for those who understand rhetorical fun.
