Thread: Positive trims on decell maxed out.

Positive trims on decell maxed out.

Only does this when the clutch goes in at the 1800-2400 area after engine braking. Fuel trims are good at idle then once and a while on decell the trims got 30+ and it fuels like a dump truck till you stop. This causes surging and stalling with 85lb/hr injectors as you could imagine. Disabling DFCO did nothing for this issue.

Try engine-->fuel-->open closed loop, "LTFT Idle Cells Threshold". Set enable VSS to 255, Disable VSS to 256.

Haven't checked to see if E67 has that, but check and see if it does and if it helps if so

You mean like this? I've been fighting this, trying to figure out what's causing it.

This sort-of works when I'm on 91 octane, but I get a stumble/hesitation on E85. I still get the rich-in-coastdown but less often using that fix.

Mine surges a little coming to a stop with clutch in. rpm drops really low and then flares high for a second and then settles. Doesnt bother me.

I've also tried retarding EOIT - no benefit there other than smelling better.

Take a look at the rear o2's. I have found that you need all 4 operational to avoid weird fueling issues on the newer gen 4's.
To add to this, there are new tables in the diagnostic tab regarding the pre and post cat o2 mv thresholds. You may be able to set those to 450 mv if the rear sensors have been removed. May have to experiment with that.
