Gear/Tire size change with latest HP version 3.2.55...

Trying to change the tire/gear ratio on a 2000 Camaro SS and it will not allow me to change. Stock is 7.29 tire dia and 3.42 gear. So 7.29*3.42=24.931 tire diameter. My new tire is 25.80/4.11 (new gear)=6.277 or 6.28. I cannot enter 6.28 and 4.11 in the Tire/Gear wizard. Anyone else seen this? Thanks!

    Post the file.

I looked at 2 different 2000 camaro tunes and both had the regular tire size and gear ratio under the gear/tire wizard. One was an auto the other an manual gear box.

2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Same issue, it will accept a larger value (like the tire diameter) but if I put in the 7.29 value the multiplier field says "ERR" and the wizard no longer works.

I used values from a previous tune to workaround the issue for now, if I can provide any info to help please let me know.

See the attached tune. If you enter it the old way say tire diameter and gear ratio the speedo is way off. If you go into a 04-06 GTO tune you can change it the old way by entering the new tire diameter and new gear ratio without an issue.

I was using a couple weeks older version of the software and it worked perfect so I updated to todays build just to see and it's doing what you are saying now. So it's on HPT's end for why it changed and is not working. The newest 3.2 changed it from a real tire size to 7.XX.

Thank you! I ended up going back to an older version for now until HP takes care of this.

Please download latest 3.2 from your customer panel, it should now show the tire size correctly.

Use the gear/tire wizard under the edit tab and it's basically exactly the same.

I did the same thing. It says gear ratio and tire size, but in my opinion it shouldn't because its not there. You have to click up top, on Edit then Gear/Tire wizard.
