    Tuning School

Serious question. What does it cost to go through a tuning school? I've thought of doing it and I've owned my HP Tuner since 2009. I'm embarrassed that I haven't learned more than I have. I'd like to be able to make a little side money by tuning some locals and my own vehicles.

Are you asking about an ACTUAL classroom style tuning school, or just some instruction and guidance. If it is basic tuning/ step by step guidance, try The Tuning School @ http://www.thetuningschool.com/. They have basic tuning instruction for GM, and Ford and are working on a Euro Module.. It is learn at home or Video instruction.. The basic Level 1 Beginner/Intermediate course gives you Instruction on VE and MAF tuning, Heads, Cams, Forced induction, and minor bolt on's like Cold Air intake... Also Torque Management and some basic Automatic Transmition tuning.. If you have an HP Tuner you can buy the course material separately, however, if you have a standard MPVI they recommend the MPVI- Pro.. as it can be interfaced with either a single or duel channel Wide Band...(SC WB included with starter kit as well as data cables and exhaust clamp.) The course gives some pretty basic tuning instruction, but for someone trying to teach themselves, it may stop someone from chasing their tail, as it were. There are also Advanced and Expert courses available, along with live seminars.... Whole GM Enthusiast or Ford starter kits $1599... Just some food for thought..

I've had HP tuners for awhile, I even bought the book from the tuning school, without much luck on my own.

I contacted ED last week set something up at the end of the week, and feel I've learned more from him in a couple hours then the previous 3 months with the book. I guess book learning isn't for me, and ED has been extremely helpful. I'd give Ed a call and set something up.

Example pdf of the term papers for college

Currently, the Tuning School offers 12 online courses with learning sets. I'm thinking to take up a Ford Ecoboost course to learn how to tune my Ecoboost powered Ford. My college dream was to go on a Monster-fueled drift some day and it will come true, I'm sure.
