hello guys I'm new to this whole LS thing so please bear with me if these questions seem really stupid.
I have a 79 FOX body Mustang with a 2007 Corvette ls2 and ecu, I'm running a 2002 Camaro radiator along with the dual fans from the same car, I have a BP standalone harness with the fans wired in the way the factory did it ie: 3 relays, the fans run in series for low speed and when the temp rises they switch over to parallel mode for high speed, that's the way they worked with the LS1 ecu, now I know the 2007 corvette had a single pulse modulated fan so my question is, would the ecu be commanding my fans like they were pulse modulated, reason for the question is once the temp gets up around 199-205 they sound like a 747 coming in for a landing. very embarrassing, I put together a standalone harness and hooked it to the battery and a ground and they sounded more normal, like my friends 99 z28. So do you think the ecu is making the fans run faster and faster as the temp rises?
