My serial number on the interface and on the instruction sheet arent the same. I get onto the computer to put in the tune and it says i have no credits but i login to my hptuners account and it says i have 8 credits.

Two totally different things.
The online account simply states how many credits have been purchased with that interface #. That doesn't mean they haven't been used already, it just means they were purchased at some point.
On your computer it will show you how many of those are actually still available / unused on the interface.
By "serial number" do you mean application key? They change every time credits are purchased. The online one is the most recent.
