    using 100% gasoline, change stoich? lambda effect

    Hi there

    living in area using 100% gasoline
    if i change the stoich AFR to 14.64 is that will effect on lambda?
    eg:
    lambda= .82
    stoich= 14.08 < factory value
    so the equation will be .82 x 14.08 = 11.6
    ........
    lambda= .82
    stoich= 14.64 < becouse using 100% gasoline
    so the equation will be .82 x 14.64 = 12.0

    am i right or not?

    another thing
    sholud i change stoic AFR max as well?

    Only if you're burning your car.

    The different fuels have different stoich AFR values. This makes lean and rich relative when using AFR. When using lambda it does away with the relativity and gives you a frame of reference based on the stoich value. you only need to make sure your stoich AFR value is correct and know lambda<1 is rich and lambda>1 is lean. AFR max and min are used for ethanol % correction with 100% gasoline up to 15% ethanol fuel you don't need to worry about this and can have flex fuel disabled.

    I see what you did there^
