2016 Focus RS Supported and Updated!

We recently released support for the 2016 Ford Focus RS a few weeks ago. This was prior to the big Ecoboost definition updates.

The RS is now updated. More parameters added to VCM Editor and VCM Scanner.

I don't see the tables that control how much power can go to the rear wheels :-)

    Great work!

    Hey Guys,

just in the process of tuning a MK3 RS. With a very mild tune up to now, gain was 50 NM so far.
However I see already in the stock log run that the pedal signal is not following up to 100%. Needless to say that the throttle follows that.
Attached I have a stock log with a pull 1600rpm to redline, with pedal to the metal.
As one can see, the driver signal (Commanded Throttle Actuator (SAE)) deos not show what the driver has commanded.
    A i logging the wrong signal ?

The Tune1 log looks fine to me, Throttle angle stays right at 83* (Except where the Exhaust Temp Control is active) which is the max defined in all the ecoboost tunes I've seen this far. As far as the Accelerator Position D and Throttle Position not going to 100%, this is also "Normal" from what I've seen with my Explorer sport and other ecoboost logs. I made a custom math param that scaled my max (~79%) Accelerator Position D to 100% so my logs were easier to look at.

Unless Eric chimes in with more in depth information, I would say everything looks fine to me (as far at the throttle and pedal number).

Difference is not too much compared to the Australian file, mainly Injector control, IPC TQ and speedo

One thing before I open a Ticket.

I could not reflash the file in above post after modification. I got the message that the Operating system was different.
All I did was reading the stock file from the vehicle, opend it in the editor and saved it as tune1 after modification.
Then tried to flash it to the vehicle catching that error.

Workaround was to save it to e-motion and use the Ngauge to flash it. Here no problems.
Is it that the strategy is not fully implemented in the editor somewhere ????

Any hint Eric or shall I open a ticket ?
