    e40 wideband swings from 14.1-15.2

2005 gto e40 ecm kooks longtube stepped headers

My oxygen sensors are swinging pretty wide since the header install. what key words should i be searching for to do my research. i dont have the intergator tables like I've found on several threads or am i just chasing my tail? Is Half point plus and minus to much?

Sounds completely normal to me for a wideband to show at idle and normal driving.

It's just showing what the o2 sensors are doing, all they do is swing lean or rich of the stoich value. Headers can make it a tad different.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Ok thank you. I just read on some cars made a difference on o2 placement and was thinking i was missing something i should be figuring out.

Post tune/log. What you're seeing sounds pretty normal though.

The good news is you're at least getting relatively equal amounts over/under stoich, which is what you should be seeing

Access to some of the closed loop/O2 sensor parameters can be added if you need it, but several don't exist on E40's. I had them add some of the closed loop proportional tables to mine which originally didn't show up.

Here are the ones they were able to add for me:

Closed loop proportional base vs. airflow mode (12480)
Closed loop proportional gain vs. O2 error (12481)
    Closed loop proportiional limit (12486)
Post a log and tune if you want help
