Engine: New 5.3 (rebuilt for turbo setup).
Heads: PRC Stage 2.5
Cam: Triple 12 Isky
Pistons: Forged Wiseco
Rods: Compstar
Intake: Stock LS1 from Camaro
Injectors: 127# Bosch
Turbo: PT7675
Fuel: Pump gas (93)
Starts but stumbles and dies unless you flap the gas pedal.
Once warm, idles but rich(high 11's low 12's) and this is at 47kpa (remember, this is a 3 bar tune)
When warm(and in park/neutral), you can slowly escalate throttle (kpas are in the 30's) and it will rev to 3K but showing quite rich(but Bank 1 &1 Inj stay at 2.2ms)
Put it in reverse and slowly add throttle, it will start to rev to 1,600rpm but then it's at 50 or so KPA and runs dead lean (19.x AFR) and stumbles, all but dies, all while the Bank1/2 stay at 2.2ms.
I've tried the RTT but I can set the VE to anything, absurd low or high values and it makes not one bit of change to the idle, injector pulsewidth or AFR(using version 3.2 of HPTuners).
I've change the VE up, down, all around but the 2.2 Bank 1/2 Injector shows up. No matter how I manipulate the Short term/default fuel values , it runs rich at idle and tries to die if I put it in gear and add any load.
I've even put in one of Denmahs tunes, changing only the injector data which is from the data sheet I received with the injectors. Same behavior. I sent of for a mail order tune from an LS1tech sponsor, exact same behavior.
I bought the 3 bar MAP sensor that is touted as having one of the good ones and plugged in the MAF linears/offset.
I'm stumped after trying every thing I can think of.
I've verified the fuel pressure 58psi. But I think even if that were off, shouldn't the injector pulsewidth 'try' to change with the TPS and/or MAP KPA changes?
I've attached my tune and my log.
Thanks,
Dave
