Has anyone here had the amount of User defined math parameters change in the scanner before? Yesterday I was showing the regular amount of 20. Today I am only seeing 10. Same software on my desktop shows the 20.

I have tired uninstalling and reinstalling the software. But it still remains the same. I even tried an older version of software.

Thanks for the reply Keith. The strange thing is that I was using 10, 14 & 15 last night.

When I fired up the scanner to do some logging this morning a few of the histograms/graphs didn't populate because the math parameters weren't in the list anymore that I used last night.

I took the VCM Scanner.cfg file from my desktop computer and put it onto my laptop and all seems good again.

I'm just puzzled as to why they disappeared.

So what you are saying is that if I use up all 20 user defined math parameters currently listed on my computer the software will make more slots available?

i know that the maf hz scaling would auto populate on the 2.24 scanner setup. What happened to this feature in 3.2? {as far as the hz range, 0-12500 ranges. each ecm has a different range it works in and 2.24 would populate this accordingly.}

It's one copy/paste operation, very easy.

It only worked for a small number of ECM's in 2.24 so it was not carried over to V3 and newer.

i know, it was convenient though when going from an lsj to an ls1 it would swap it.

Open an E38 or E67 tune. Go into the Edit menu and hit "Add Slave Segment Data."
This was added to allow customers with aftermarket throttle bodies to adjust P1516 DTC thresholds that can cause the vehicle to go into reduced engine power mode. The feature has the nice side effect of being able to truly write entire an ECM (initialize another ECM with the exact same tune).
The slave segment section cannot be read back with the standard read process, but you can always add it this way.

I have an 09 Z06, E38. I have the latest current pub of 3.2x and this option is not available in the Edit Menu. Has it moved?

Yes, they've only added the data for some OS. You have to make a support request if yours isn't available.

Can anyone tell me if this file (OS 12587604) has full Flex Fuel capabilities with this upgrade? I need a good "working" DBC Flex File for the P59 PCM.

I got into the vcm editor 3.2 and realized we no longer have access to turning dtc off and on. Am i missing something? Did it get moved?

Download 3.4 and try again.

It just came out.

Also you must be in advanced view under the edit tab to see everything. You can still disable DTC's, nothing was removed.
