What version of 2.24 are you on?
Not sure. Downloaded it when it was first released. I emailed support about if I needed a newer version of 2.24 or I have to have 3.0 or do I just pay for the credits. Should it be free in 2.24?

Yes, it was free for me in 2.24
Support will probably only give you a link to download 3.0.
Go to help-->about and see what version of 2.24 you're on. I bet it's just too old. They release an updated version every day.
