    Laptop /Notebook Recommendations

    Hey guys,

I am going to be taking The Tuning School beginner course soon and am looking for recommendations for a new laptop/notebook. I currently have a 5 year old 17" lap top that is huge and pretty slow. I would like to find a new laptop (or notebook preferably) that is smaller yet still capable enough to handle the HP Tuner software with no problems. I do have an external cd writer, if needed, that I can use. Any recommendations or suggestions?

Thanks in advance - I appreciate it.

    Jeremiah

SSD Drive, at lease a couple USB 3.0 ports and 15" with a backlit keyboard are what I'd suggest.

Almost any laptop built in the last 3 years will have the computing power to do what you need it to when it comes to calibrating.

Until you start using it for more than just calibrating.....

    Enjoy and good luck sir!!

If looking for an inexpensive, very small and lightweight device with great battery life, you may want to consider this tablet/keyboard-dock combo deal that I saw this morning - $99 for a Windows 10 tablet/keyboard-dock combo is hard to beat! I use a very similar device - an Asus T100 tablet/keyboard-dock combo and I love using it as a tuning device due to it's small size and great battery life. This Acer actaully seems even better than the Asus and the price is awesome:
